The One Program Which Has Saved My Bacon Where All Else Have Failed

By John Salamon

Just recently I tried a registry cleaner come, fixer and to be honest was pretty dubious about its effectiveness. Nonetheless I was finding myself running image backups every two or three months as it is usually about that time I have subtle annoying problems with my operating systems, browsers and other conflicting programs and software.

Being a computer tech from way back and really wanting to get to the bottom of why I need to refresh my system by running an image file every two or three months or maybe I just expect way too much from my quad core behemoth with now eight gigabytes of ram. Anyway after much research I came to the conclusion that the source of my problems was that I was testing an exorbitant amount of software and shortly after uninstalling 99.9% of the software I was testing, after all it's my duty to keep up with the latest software offerings after all!

Anyway I was confronted with the cold hard truth that, in my particular case my registry was receiving a right royal flogging hence the regular image backup reversions. So off I trotted and did some more research and decided upon, after much deliverance to test a little known 'new kid on the block' registry cleaner. Not being a big fan of registry cleaners I thought I'd give it a go having little to lose, my system was running like a pig anyway.

To my complete surprise the software, and I may as well let the cat out the bag, Error Fix found 526 problem registry entries. No prob's, after running the software and a quick re-boot words cannot describe! I was gobsmacked. This humble little registry cleaner, had gave my operating system and all the programs a total reprieve, a new lease on life. No longer does my new Flock browser grind to a screeching hold three months after a fresh install, no longer does Photoshop develop a mind of its own and no longer does my Office 2007 just decides they want to crash half way through me developing a document. The results were nothing short of amazing, so you can teach an old dog new trick after all! I was so impressed I trotted straight off and wrote up a blog post to share this technological gem for all to share.
